Farm Bouquet Workshop Tuesday 13th October 6.30pm Saturday 31st October 2pm Come and spend a couple of hours at The Flower Farm learning how to make your own hand-tied bouquet using a selection of our seasonal farm-grown flowers and foliage. Susie will show you the basics of putting a bouquet together — how to choose your flowers, create a good shape and balance, and get everything sitting where it should. You’ll also learn the spiral technique, which is the trick to getting that lovely natural, hand-tied look (and stopping your bouquet from having a mind of its own!). Once you’ve got your bouquet looking the part, Susie will show you how to tie and wrap it so it’s ready to take home. There’ll be plenty of help along the way, with Susie and Viv both on hand to offer advice, answer questions and step in if things start going a little sideways. The workshop will run for around 90–120 minutes and, of course, we’ll have some nibbles, something to enjoy in your glass and a few laughs along the way. No previous flower arranging experience needed — just come along, have a play with some beautiful flowers and see what you can create. You’ll head home with your own hand-tied bouquet and hopefully a few new tricks up your sleeve for the next time you buy (or pick!) a bunch of flowers.
